Since the dawn of time, women have coexisted with men sometimes equally, sometimes opressed and cruelly treated and sometimes seen as divine and on a silver platter. The status of women has changed in different societies based on geography, time and culture. In this article whose aim is to put forth the public perception and rights of women, who were an important element of the society, in stepic era, the Scyth ( Saka ), the Sarmat, the Great Hun and European Huns and the Göktürk states and governments, who lived in an area from China up to Europe through an approximate timespan of one thousand five hundred years, have been examined. The rights possessed by the old stepic women in administration and social life, the perception of women in stepic society, the tasks carried out by stepic women and their status have, through the information provided by the resources, been gathered and attempted to be presented.
