The village, Hasanoglan, is located by the major highway connecting the cities Ankara and Kayseri and it is 32 kilometers apart from Ankara. According of the statistics from 1940’s, the population of the village is 1300. The foundation of Hasanoglan Institute had positive economic and cultural impact on the village and the population grew by 1500. Since the institute was close to Ankara and; therefore, to the central government, it hosted frequent government officials. Many domestic and foreign visitors got to know about the institute by visiting the village. Hasanoglan Village Institute played a major role on advertising these educational institutes to other parts of Turkey and to the World. Hasanoglan Village Institute increased the number of literature people during its service. It also played a role on introducing modern farming to the people living in Hasanoglan and later it had done the same to the other villages through its alumni. In addition, it changed the mentality on health and hygiene around the surrounding areas through the health clubs that were established under the institution. Moreover, a higher education institute called “Higher Village Institute” was established under asanoglan Village Institute to solve basic problems in education, farming and health of the surrounding people. Through these higher institutions, the kids in the village met with education. With the advent of the higher institute, it was planned to address the lack of educators in Hasanoglan Institute, and also other similar institutions.},author={Erhan ALPASLAN-- Tülay Gökdemir},year={2018},journal={Cappadocia Journal of History and Social Sciences}}
