Abstract
Türkiye’de cemiyetlerin yasal dayanağa kavuşması II. Meşrutiyet’in ilanından hemen sonra gerçekleşti. Bu tarihten sonra Cumhuriyet’in ilanına kadar sosyo-kültürel ve iktisadi alanda çok sayıda cemiyet kuruldu ve faaliyet gösterdi. Uzun süren savaş yıllarında devlet himayesinde varlığını devam ettiren bu cemiyetler, Cumhuriyet’le birlikte yeniden canlandı. Bu çerçevede, Niğde’de başta Türk Ocağı, olmak üzere Muallimler Birliği ve İdman Yurdu gibi sosyo-kültürel müesseselerin yanı sıra birden fazla iktisadi kuruluş faaliyet gösterdi. Bu makalede, bahsi edilen bu kuruluşlar incelenmiştir.

Abstract
Being legalized of the associations in Turkey has actualized after the proclamation of The Second Constitutional Period. A great number of associations was founded and engaged in socio-cultural and economic fields from this date until the Proclamation of Republic. The associations when had been subsisting during a running warfare, was resuscitated by The Republic. In this context many economic foundations such as Turkish Association, Sports Club and Teacher's Union besides socio-cultural establishments was operated in Niğde. In this article, these aforesaid establishments have been analyzed.
